     When in Holland they break into a mighty sepulcher and steal from a 500 years dead grave robber, a potent  amulet mentioned in the dreaded and forbidden “Necronomicon” of the mad Arab Abdul Alhazred”, he comes back for it and more.

     Please Note:  For The Lovecraft Lovers:  The Hound contains the first mention of one of Lovecraft's most famous literary creations - the dreaded and forbidden “Necronomicon” of the mad Arab Abdul Alhazred.  Lovecraft mentioned its author a year earlier, in "The Nameless City", but here for the first time named the book. Referring to an amulet found on a grave-robbing expedition.
